Celebrating these two special people and musicians who were both close to and played with Wonderous Stories.

Jack Hotop had a career that included playing with John Entwistle of The Who. He got that job because he was also in the band "Rat Race Choir". Rat Race became Entwistles backing band. They were already tri-state-area legends with a superb classic rock band that covered the toughest rock stuff from the 70's & more. Some of the original members are now gone but when the band reformed in the 2000's they were still amazing.

The most current version of "Rat Race Choir" will perform a mini set and will include lead vocalist/bassist Dave Chmela drummer Adam Snyder, keyboardist Scott Harris & guitarist Craig Weinberg.

Lester Saldinger had a career including being a bass player with funk, soul & blues and was a fast gun for hire. When he came into Wonderous Stories world he learned to play bass lines from the opposite pole of what he formally played. When others heard what he played he started being hired by others including arguably the biggest drawing band on long Island at the time "45 RPM". He learned to play punchy catchy commercial hits and really expanded his already big repertoire. Wonderous Stories will play a few that people remember Lester playing and singing and some of the popular "Paper Bag" members will play and/or sing a few in his memory.
